I already had an account setup that I was simply changing the email address of. I am a member from a prior testing cycle and already had an established account, so I do not understand why this is happening, especially when the email address used is set to allow mail to/from the Einstein at Home [einstein-[at]-einstein.phys.uwm.edu] domain.
Ok, forgetting my personal account troubles... :/ do you have ANY feedback for me regarding why our founder cannot get confirmation of his creation of an E@H team for our site?
He's been trying even longer then I have, and if someone could "flip a switch" and allow him to complete the team registration process, it would be appreciated

Just to test and make verify it worked from an outside source, I went in and changed my e-mail since I have multiple accounts. I received the notification in my e-mail box in under 40 seconds. Clicked the link in the e-mail and it was verified. The entire process took less then 1 minute. I would say it works real fine. That is the second time I have changed my e-mail in the past month, and both times went flawlessly. I would guess that you are right, and something is blocking Logan 5's e-mail receipt.
Putting the ORIGINAL email address back worked, and I received an email change confirmation message within 5 minutes of changing it back. So, this proves I have a valid account and I know I can download work with it, so why can't I change the email?
Just to clarify: I'm NOT setting up a new account.
This is weird. And again, there's NOTHING blocking or preventing me from receiving E@H email.

Obviously there is "something". If it is not blocked at your computer, then something is either blocking or delaying it on the way. Does your other provider have some level of "SPAM" blocking turned on by default at their server?
The following are just some recommendations of things to check. We are all human after all, and mistakes happen. Have you checked your spam filter to ensure that the "allowed" list does not have a typo in the einstein address, or that the Einstein wasn't accidentally added to the disallow list?
The results however are irrefutable, there is "Something" blocking or delaying your e-mail. Where it is happening is the only uncertainty.
As to your team "founder" being allowed to set-up a team, anyone who is already participating can setup the team. The solution is for the team leader to sign up for testing if he/she hasn't already, and then ask the Project Team if they can expedite an invitation to this one individual to join. Once joined, then that person can establish the team. Try sending a nice e-mail to the project, providing your founders e-mail address used to request an invite. Maybe they can then expedite an invitation.
(David an Bernd, I recently received a couple of "extra" invites at different addresses. Since I won't be using them, I have no problem one of them being assigned to the broadband founder if that is cool with you guys.)

AFAIK none of the providers involved (SBC on my local client, Netzero on the new address and our local broadbandreports.com email on the old email address) are specifically filtering E@H email. My local client has E@H in the white list, and netzero does not list E@H in their blacklist, and the BBR email obviously works with the old address in place

If there is, it's happening beyond my control.

He did that during the last open test from what I understand, and never got a reply.

SHAKTAI: I will pass on your generous offer of an expedited account setup to our founder Kinguni. He's really been trying for a long while to get the team account process going (since the last open signups) but so far, no joy from the "powers that be".
I just upgraded the Client to 4.16 from 4.13 on a test PC and tried to download some work to test, and I'm now getting an "Invalid or missing account key, Visit this projects website to get an account key" when I try to attach to the E@H project under either version, as well as showing me as only being a member since today?!?
Isin't this an account key?
a2cbd1b2034db910828f176b87c3e1e5
it's at the bottom of my account info page.
It USED to be valid at one time........ :/ Could all this mucking about with changing and resetting email addresses have done something to my account to now not allow me to get any work??
I DO want to thank everyone that's contributed their input as I've learned alot and hope to have a far better understanding of how this all comes together when my issues are hopefully resolved soon.

Well, there have never been "open" signups as far as I know. Only the link at http://www.physics2005.org/events/einsteinathome/index.html that I am aware of to volunteer as a tester. I volunteered many moons before they actual sent out the first invites when it was first announced. It was a very long wait, and I was one of the early testers. If your team founder only volunteered a month or two ago, then he may still be a ways down the list of volunteers.
I volunteered at the first announcement, and then forgot that I volunteered and volunteered again a little later under a different e-mail. Both of those were before the project started "out of house testing", and I only just received my "extra" invites. If the project team has no objections, I would be glad to share one of my extra invites to help your team get setup. The project team has good reasons for wanting to manage the build-up of participants, and cannot show favoritism to any one group or person. There are a lot of groups and people, wanting to get onboard, so they can only take the requests in order. I am guessing that it is a "long" waiting list.

No that is your cross project ID. If you go to

log out and go back to

you can click that you do not know your account key and it will be emailed to you.
